The mission of the Block Parent® Program is to provide immediate assistance through a safety network and to offer supportive community education programs. What better example of a community education program than Staying Alive.

We at Block Parent® have long realized that an integral part of keeping children safe is through education. Your interactive website in combination with the Great Escape CD are excellent educational tools to promote fire safety to children. You are providing children an opportunity to learn about fire safety in a safe, non-threatening, fun “game”. While it may be presented as a “game” you are ensuring that children know how to react in different situations that they may find themselves in at home.

On behalf of the Block Parent® Program of Canada, I would like to give our full support for the Staying Alive Program and recognize the great job that Shane Ferguson is doing in educating children on fire safety.
